For Therapists & IFS PRactitioners
Individual & Group Consultations & Introduction to IFS
My IFS and IFIO consulting services are for experienced IFS practitioners and those just starting their IFS journey.
Individual Consultations
In consultation, we will explore what is coming up for you in the therapy/coaching/healing room that’s preventing you from being grounded with the folks you work with. In our work together we will utilize a number of tools to help you become a more proficient IFS/IFIO therapist/practitioner.
This is for anyone who wants to deepen their IFS/IFIO skills.
We can work on your individual, couple, and/or group work.
This is not therapy supervision, so you are fully responsible for your clients.
Together, we’ll build more confidence in your IFS work.
Group Consultations
I lead consultation groups seasonally that focus on IFS and IFIO. You can sign up for my current offerings below or reach out if you’d like to put together a consultation group of your own.
Currently, I am putting together a consultation group on how to get started combining therapy and wilderness. If you are interested, please contact me.

IFIO Couples Counseling

Consultation Group: IFIO Couples Counseling
Working with couples is a meaningful way to foster systemic change and healing. However, engaging in couples work can also activate parts of our own internal systems, as we may encounter dynamics that resonate with our family of origin experiences.
In this group, we will practice using the Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) model while intentionally slowing down to build awareness of the parts that arise during practice scenarios.
This experiential group offers an opportunity to deepen your IFIO skills while fostering a greater connection to your own system - helping you find more ease and confidence as you sit with couples from the healing chair.
The completion of one basic IFIO training course is required
Please note: While this group offers valuable opportunities for personal and professional development, it does not meet the IFS Institute’s certification criteria due to its size (more than six participants).

IFS Consultation Group: Working with Emotional Neglect
Emotional childhood neglect is deeply embedded in many family systems, often going unseen because of its prevalence and subtlety. This group is designed to help you recognize the impact of neglect and effectively address it in your healing work using Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Together, we’ll explore how to identify neglect without inducing shame in the external family system and gain a deeper understanding of the common parts that emerge in these dynamics. Topics include working with dissociation, care-taking tendencies, hyper-independence, self-criticism, and substance or process addictions.
We will also delve into the challenges of working with protectors that mistrust therapy spaces—an especially common dynamic in cases of neglect. You'll learn strategies for navigating mistrust, building safety, and getting started with these protectors using IFS techniques.
This group offers a supportive environment for exploring these complex themes, equipping you with tools and insights to bring greater clarity and compassion to your work with clients affected by emotional neglect.
Please note: While this group offers valuable opportunities for personal and professional development, it does not meet the IFS Institute’s certification criteria due to its size (more than six participants).

Introduction to IFS
An Experiential Learning Space to Play with the Basics of the IFS Model
Getting into a Level 1 training with IFS Institute has been challenging due to the rise in popularity of the model. IFS reached me and shifted my internal system in ways that other models were not able to do. It also changed how I engaged with my system as I sat with clients -so much that it preventing me from leaving the therapy field due to discouragement and burnout. My passion for the model has led me to teach basic introduction courses to IFS for many years. And, ultimately to becoming a trainer for the IFS Institute. If you are waiting to get into a Level 1 and have a burning desire to start learning the basics of the model, join this group. You will learn the primary concepts of the IFS model, watch demonstrations, and practice basic concepts in small groups. This will not qualify you as an IFS Therapist/Practitioner, however you will be able to say you are IFS Informed in your practice.

meet your trainer
Hi, I’m Jenny.
For the past 10 years, I have trained and practiced IFS and IFIO. I am an Approved Clinical Consultant and a Video Reviewer for certification with the IFS-Institute so all individual and group hours with me count towards IFS Certification. I have completed all three levels of IFS training as a participant multiple times, and have worked over 20 Level 1 Trainings either as a trainer or program assistant in countries all over the world.
I’m excited to work together to help you deepen your confidence and IFS practice.
